SONAR obstacle-notifying glove
A glove that ranges nearby obstacles and notifies the wearer. Built as a mobility aid, not a demo for a poster session.

A sonar glove on a display form: an ultrasonic module on the back of the hand pings a test obstacle that rolls in on a rail; when it comes close, the coin vibration motor on the wrist cuff buzzes, then the obstacle rolls away.
Wearable ranging for the visually impaired
SONAR on the hand, Arduino in the loop, haptic or audio notify. The point was a wearable that could travel a hallway, not a bench prototype that only worked in a lab photo.
